The collaboration between South African musicians Jean-Louise (JL) Parker and Cheri came about unexpectedly, blending the raw energy of punk with the inventiveness of art-pop. Originally meeting on tour, the duo rediscovered their musical connection during the pandemic in Berlin, experimenting with unconventional instruments and sounds.

Their debut album “Get Yourself Together” bursts with cheeky lyrics, mischievous energy, and emotional depth.
